You’ll manage the day-to-day coordination of the Advancement Office and participate as part of the advancement team and provide general support. You must have a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is needed. Familiarity with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and an understanding of basic web site management is a definite plus. Salary is $36,000 to 38,000 plus full benefits, vacation, holidays, etc…. |

This Assistant Director of Admissions is a full-time administrative position with a private school. You’ll assist with the school’s recruitment, admissions and enrollment processes. You’ll be the initial contact for many families inquiring about the school and you’ll play a significant role in shaping the first impressions and ongoing experience of families in the admissions process. Responsibilities included: initiate telephone calls, emails and written correspondence, attend outreach events at the school and other sites (some evenings and weekends), design and prepare bulk mailings, maintain the database of confidential materials, and various other duties as assigned by the Director. This high-level position reports to the Director of Finance. You’ll maintain all accounting records/data making sure that the system is functioning properly. You’ll prepare complete financial statements and assist in the preparation of a five-year plan and annual budget. Responsibilities include cash management and reporting, annual audit reports, managing the school’s purchasing card system, collection of overdue accounts receivables, maintain permanent contract files and special assignments as requested by the Director. This is the proverbial “ground floor” opportunity that could lead to increased responsibilities as the organization grows. You would serve as a Raiser’s Edge Specialist in the development department of this poised-for-growth non-profit. The organization will rely on your Raiser’s Edge knowledge to organize, correct and maintain the fund-raising database, provide some administrative support to the Development Department professionals and assisting with the department’s gift acknowledgement, event planning and communication functions. A background that includes experience utilizing Raiser’s Edge in the development department of a non-profit organization or an educational institution is absolutely required. Salary is $38,000 to 42,000 plus excellent benefits. |
